2014 Guadalupe County Texas A&M Mothers' Club Scholarship Recipients

Congratulations to area high school/college students who were recently awarded a scholarship by the Guadalupe County Texas A&M University Mothers' Club at their annual awards banquet in April.

2014 Howdy Dinner Sets New Record

With the generous support of our community, friends, family and of course, hard working Aggie Moms, the 2014 Howdy Fiesta dinner held in March was a great success raising over $15,000 for scholarships to area students. The addition of a wine pull plus fun entertainment by Big Daddy Dean made this year's event a great evening for all! Thanks to all who supported the GC Aggie Moms Club! We appreciate your help!

2013 Howdy Dinner Huge Success!

Dr. Scott Bugai, Texas A&M Class of '83, owner of Parkview Veterinary Center in Seguin and Tony Walker, '12, Master of Ceremonies at the Guadalupe County Aggie Mother's Club Howdy Dinner on March 23rd. Dr. Bugai shows off his autographed Johnny Manziel football he received after a generous donation to help support area scholarships to Texas A&M University. The event raised over $13,000 for scholarships to area students attending A&M.

Congrats Class of '12!

An ice cream sundae party was held on Monday, May 21st to honor our 2012 graduates. An Aggie crest paperweight was presented with love and great pride from the GC Aggie Mothers Club.

Fightin' Texas Aggie Class of 2012 graduates honored included Kelsey Brawner, Brandy Canion, Sara Harrod, Haley Helweg, Christina Johnson, Marshall McDonald, Martha Posey, Bradley Reiley, Reece Roberts, Amanda Stroh, Tony Walker, Amanda Zavesky & Madeline Zwicke.

Christina Johnson, Marshall McDonald, Martha Posey, Reece Roberts and Tony Walker joined us at the presentation! Whoop!

2012 Spring Howdy Dinner Fundraiser

Our annual scholarship dinner and auction was held in February at the McQueeney Lions Club and was a tremendous success! Once again, almost $10,000 was raised for annual student scholarships as hundreds of guests enjoyed a delicious home cooked dinner, live and silent auctions. Entertainment was provided by Apotheosis, Texas A&M's premier contemporary a cappella group and was a huge hit! Thanks to all who helped and supported this fun evening!

2011 Aggie Boutique

GC Aggie Moms had a wonderful booth this past April at the Aggie Boutique held during parents weekend. Varous handmade gifts including Aggie notecards, corkboards and Kitty Keller Christmas ornaments were available for sale.

2010 Events

Class of 2010 Graduates Honored

An ice cream sundae party was held on Monday, May 24, 2010 to honor our 2010 graduates from TAMU. An Aggie crest paperweight was presented to the graduates with love and great pride from the GC Aggie Mothers Club. Graduates honored include Lans Martin, Erica Brueggemann, Keri Bean, Derek Even, Jeron Ramos, Marianne Sassenhagen, Priscilla Martinez, Jake Jarzombek and Megan Martin.

2009 Events

2009 Summer Howdy Picnic

Our Annual Howdy Picnic was held in July at the TLU Party Barn in Seguin. Local Aggies along with scholarship recipients enjoyed a delicious hot dog lunch complete with Yell Practice led by the '09-'10 Aggie Yell Leaders. Donations from the event helped raise over $400 for upcoming scholarships! Thanks and Gig' em Aggies!

2009 Annual Spring Howdy Fundraiser

The Guadalupe County Aggie Moms' Club hosted its Annual Dinner and auction on Monday, February 9, 2009 at the McQueeney Lions Club. Approximately 250 guests enjoyed a delicious dinner, live and silent auction. Profits from this event totaled $4,900 which helped fund scholarships to attend TAMU.

Thank you to all the dedicated members who worked so hard to make this event a success, including the delicious desserts! In addition, thank you to everyone who donated items for the auctions and to those who supported the event. We appreciate your help!

2008 Summer Howdy Dinner
