2009 Summer Howdy Picnic

Our Annual Howdy Picnic was held in July at the TLU Party Barn in Seguin. Local Aggies along with scholarship recipients enjoyed a delicious hot dog lunch complete with Yell Practice led by the '09-'10 Aggie Yell Leaders. Donations from the event helped raise over $400 for upcoming scholarships! Thanks and Gig' em Aggies!

2009 Annual Spring Howdy Fundraiser

The Guadalupe County Aggie Moms' Club hosted its Annual Dinner and auction on Monday, February 9, 2009 at the McQueeney Lions Club. Approximately 250 guests enjoyed a delicious dinner, live and silent auction. Profits from this event totaled $4,900 which helped fund scholarships to attend TAMU.

Thank you to all the dedicated members who worked so hard to make this event a success, including the delicious desserts! In addition, thank you to everyone who donated items for the auctions and to those who supported the event. We appreciate your help!

2009 Scholarship Award Recipients

Congratulations to area high school students who were recently awarded a $500 scholarship by the Guadalupe County Texas A&M Mothers' Club at their annual awards banquet. Left to right: Megan Williams (Marion), Madeline Zwicke (Marion), Shelby Kauitzsch (Seguin), Evan Ramsey (Navarro), Emily Warncke (Seguin). Also receiving scholarships were current Texas A&M students from Guadalupe County (not pictured): Stuart Davis, Derek Even, Lanster Martin, Paulina Martinez, Jeron Ramos & Dana Robbins.

Mr. Forrest M. Mims III (photo left), TAMU Class of '66, served as keynote speaker at the event. Tracy Bean (photo right), our own Aggie Mom, celebrated the scholarship recipients with a homemade Aggie cake.

2008 Summer Howdy Dinner

Aggie Yell Leaders and our own Lans Martin (center), head Yell Leader for '08-'09 and a Seguin native, helped to make the dinner a huge success!
